Solutions Architect Banking / Financial Services

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to design, develop, and deliver scalable enterprise solutions within a fast-paced financial services environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Fenergo, Databricks, .NET, event-driven architecture, messaging platforms, data engineering, and cloud technologies. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to build high-performance applications, modern data pipelines, and robust integration solutions while ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using modern architecture and development frameworks.
• Design and implement event-driven solutions using Kafka, IBM MQ, and Azure Event Hub.
• Build, optimize, and support data pipelines using Databricks and SQL Server.
• Develop RESTful APIs and backend services using .NET technologies (C# preferred).
• Design integration solutions between enterprise applications and third-party platforms.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and analytics using Power BI.
• Automate operational processes using Autosys or similar enterprise scheduling tools.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and infrastructure teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Perform advanced SQL development, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Develop Python-based automation and data processing solutions.
• Maintain source code using GitHub and follow CI/CD best practices.
• Conduct code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Ensure solutions meet security, scalability, performance, and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience as a Solutions Architect or Senior Software Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with Fenergo.
• Strong experience with Databricks and data engineering.
• Proficiency in .NET Framework/.NET Core, with C# preferred.
• Experience with Kafka, IBM MQ, and Azure Event Hub.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including advanced querying and performance tuning.
• Experience developing APIs and enterprise integration solutions.
• Proficiency in Python scripting and automation.
• Experience with Power BI reporting and dashboard development.
• Experience using Autosys or similar enterprise scheduling tools.
• Experience with GitHub and version control.
• Strong understanding of Event-Driven Architecture, Distributed Systems, API Design, and Data Pipeline Architecture.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with KYC (Know Your Customer) and Client Onboarding platforms.
• Experience with MBPM (Metastorm) or other Business Process Management (BPM) tools.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
• Financial Services or Banking industry experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
