Solutions Architect Job Title: Solutions Architect Location: 100% Remote (Continental United States) Position Type: In-house Bright Vision Technologies SOW engagement (no third-party client or vendor)
Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end solution architectures for enterprise applications covering application, integration, data, security, and infrastructure layers
- Partner with business stakeholders to capture functional and non-functional requirements and translate them into reference architectures and target-state designs
- Lead architecture review boards, evaluating proposed designs against enterprise standards, security policies, and long-term roadmap considerations
- Design integration strategies across SaaS, on-premise, and hybrid landscapes, leveraging API gateways, event streaming, and managed integration platforms
- Establish architecture principles, technology selection guidelines, and reusable patterns for use across multiple delivery teams
- Collaborate with security architects to embed identity, data protection, and compliance controls into solution designs from the outset
- Produce high-quality architecture artifacts including context diagrams, component models, sequence diagrams, and decision records
- Guide cloud migration, modernization, and re-platforming initiatives with a focus on cost, performance, and resilience
- Support proof-of-concept development to validate critical architectural choices before broader adoption
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams during solution delivery
- Track emerging technologies and recommend strategic investments that align with business priorities
- Drive standardization across application portfolios to reduce technical debt and operational complexity
- Engage with vendors and platform partners to evaluate roadmap fit and negotiate technical commitments
- Ensure that solutions meet regulatory, audit, and data governance requirements applicable to the business
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Eight or more years of experience in software engineering or solution architecture roles
- Demonstrated experience architecting enterprise applications across at least two major cloud platforms
- Strong expertise in integration patterns, API design, and event-driven architectures
- Deep familiarity with at least one major enterprise platform such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, ServiceNow, or Workday
- Working knowledge of identity, security, and data governance frameworks at enterprise scale
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience producing formal architecture artifacts and presenting them to senior leadership
- Track record of leading architecture reviews and influencing engineering direction across teams
- Strong understanding of cost optimization, scalability, and resilience trade-offs
Qualifications
- To qualify, candidates must be willing to work directly as a full-time W2 employee of Bright Vision Technologies and contribute to our in-house SOW deliverables
- No new H1B sponsorship is available for this role. However, candidates who are currently on a valid H1B visa and require a transfer are welcome to apply. We will support H1B transfers for qualified candidates
Skills
- TOGAF, AWS, Azure, or GCP architecture certifications
- Experience with large-scale ERP, CRM, or HCM transformation programs
- Exposure to regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, or life sciences
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture tooling such as LeanIX, Ardoq, or Sparx EA
- Experience driving cloud governance, FinOps, and cost transparency initiatives

This role is part of Bright Vision Technologies’ in-house Statement of Work (SOW) engagement. The client, end customer, and employer for this position is Bright Vision Technologies — there is no third-party client, vendor, or implementation partner involved. We do not engage in C2C, 1099, or third-party arrangements for this role. BUT STRICTLY NO C2C/1099/3RD PARTY COMPANIES. ALL OUR ROLES ARE W2 AND NO 3RD PARTY BROKERING PLEASE.
Pay
$100k to $150k per annum
