About the Role

The Commercial Services Solutions Analyst IV ensures TD Bank has loan products and processes that are customer-oriented, scalable, and cost-effective to meet the market demands of our Commercial and Small Business Banking customer segments—faster, better, and cheaper.

This role works within an Agile pod alongside configuration, testing, product, and other technology resources to design and deliver Encompass solutions, including plugins, workflow rules, Encompass Web input forms, and task-based processing. Strong communication, collaboration, and empathy for end users and business processes are critical.

RESL Business Technology supports the Encompass loan origination platform and Blend point-of-sale platform, including their associated business rules and workflows. The team partners with product managers, product owners, line-of-business teams, external vendors, and IT support to improve business capabilities, reduce costs, and automate processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manages and administers systems business functions to ensure continuous and uninterrupted system availability.
  • Coordinates with internal and external resources to successfully complete projects and deliver solutions that address business needs.
  • Works with Business Line, Risk, and Operational partners to execute, facilitate, or oversee business line activities required for Solutions, including planning, business requirements, and vendor relationship management.
  • Provides subject matter expertise and leadership, acting as a specialist resource for systems, processes, and troubleshooting knowledge for Line, Risk, and Operational partners.
  • Participates in enterprise solution design, development, and documents standards that apply for business applications.
  • Creates design for Solutions requirements, mapping business and functional requirements to business process, workflow, and organization.
  • Develops implementation plans for specific components of the Solutions strategy.
  • Manages large projects, including task and responsibility delegation, in support of Solutions initiatives.
  • Coaches and trains less experienced staff.
  • May supervise or manage staff as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of related experience.
  • Expert knowledge of business line, business model, and operations.
  • Proven communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated follow-up skills and the ability to manage competing priorities according to business need.
  • Progressively responsible experience in large-scale corporate systems analysis.
  • Proven ability to successfully plan, develop, lead, and execute projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to take a lead role in developing staff and department capabilities.
  • Ability to independently translate user requirements into technical specifications.
  • Expert process improvement skills.
  • Expert technical knowledge and the ability to apply it to various system issues and training situations.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot, research, and correct the majority of system malfunctions.
  • Proven time management skills and the ability to prioritize competing tasks.

Pay

$91,000 - $136,240 USD per year. TD is committed to providing fair and equitable compensation opportunities. The base pay offered may vary based on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, geographic location, and other business and organizational needs.
