ANALYST IV
About the role
The Office of the Secretary is seeking a self-motivated individual to support department initiatives, collaborate with executive leadership and CDCR programs on high-profile issues that fall under the authority of the Secretary's office. The ideal incumbent will possess strong communication skills, unwavering professionalism, sound judgment, and an understanding of the need for confidentiality, while providing administrative responsibilities including scheduling, coordination, and managing competing priorities to CDCR's highest office.
Responsibilities
- Independently performs the most varied and most complex duties with a high degree of responsibility and confidentiality while handling multiple simultaneous tasks and projects effectively and efficiently.
- Provides high-level expertise and assistance to the Secretary on a wide variety of the most complex and critical administrative functions, special projects, and policy and program issues.
- Represents the Secretary in meetings and liaises between internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
Maintain partnerships with higher level employees within CDCR, including supervisors and management, and executive level leadership.
Qualifications
The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) Headquarters has implemented a new automated system to streamline the hiring process. The Human Resources Technology System (HRTS) is an intuitive, user-friendly system that provides the applicant access to real-time updates throughout the hiring process. HRTS will require new candidates to set up an account, which allows them to track their application's progress. Through their account portal, candidates will also be able to provide any additional information needed in the hiring process, including setting up interviews as needed.

Pay
$7,276.00 - $9,107.00 per month.
Schedule
This position is a hybrid telework position, which is primarily office-centered and may require travel and/or to work outside of office hours. The successful candidate must reside in California.
