Solution Lead, Anaplan/Pigment
About the role
CFO Technology Accordion’s CFO Technology Practice effectively and efficiently delivers the digital services and solutions to support organizational strategic initiatives. Our CFO Technology experts work cross-functionally — alongside practitioners from all corners of Accordion — to arm CFOs with the appropriate digital solutions needed to implement the team’s business process recommendations and to capitalize on value creation opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Help clients modernize planning, forecasting, and reporting capabilities through Anaplan and Pigment solutions.
- Work directly with senior client stakeholders and internal delivery teams to design scalable connected planning models, lead workstreams, and translate business requirements into practical, high-impact technology solutions.
- Collaborate with functional and technical team members to develop effective Anaplan and/or Pigment solutions.
- Implement budgets, forecasts, workforce models, reports, and dashboards within CPM environments.
- Provide technical guidance across design, model architecture, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Work directly with clients to document business requirements and translate them into specific platform functionality.
- Participate in and lead client workshops to define implementation strategy and future-state planning processes.
- Configure and customize client environments to develop proof of concepts and present sustainable solutions to client executives and key stakeholders.
- Attend pre-sales meetings with prospective clients to assess project scope and level of effort with sales team members.
- Support connected planning use cases across FP&A, workforce planning, sales planning, supply chain, incentive compensation, and scenario modeling.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop junior consultants and business analysts on application and implementation methodology.
- Provide general customer service and assistance to clients and serve as the go-to resource on project-related inquiries.
- Travel to client sites as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 4–6+ years of systems consulting or CPM model development experience, including multiple full lifecycle implementations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong experience with Anaplan required.
- Pigment experience preferred.
- Hands-on Anaplan or Pigment model-building experience strongly preferred.
- Strong financial planning, FP&A, and/or management accounting background.
- Demonstrated understanding of connected planning concepts, including budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, driver-based planning, and scenario analysis.
- Previous experience gathering business requirements and translating them into scalable CPM solutions.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to convert complex business logic into sustainable system design.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Strong client relationship, organization, and prioritization capabilities.

Benefits
The annual salary for this role ranges from: $100,000 to $165,000 USD + benefits + bonus. Actual compensation packages are determined by evaluating a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, years and depth of experience, education, certifications, cost of labor and internal equity.
Pay
$100,000 to $165,000 USD + benefits + bonus.
Schedule
This role is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work remotely 2 days a week. Ideal candidates should be local to the desired location.
