Solution Engineer, Senior

Position reports to the company HQ in Englewood, CO and permits 100% telecommuting with up to 50% international and domestic travel to various unanticipated locations for ad hoc client requests.

About the role

Serve as a subject-matter expert from both a sales and technical perspective and drive the technical close of a sale within the Customer Experience (CX) organization. In collaboration with sales, service, solution architecture, development, and product management, generate new sales opportunities through the creation of unique and compelling solutions, value propositions, messaging, positioning documents, and presentations that align CSG with target markets.

Assess potential application of company products to meet customer needs and create detailed product specifications for the configuration, development, and implementation of solutions for the customer. Design, build, maintain, and modify technical demonstration assets. Mentor, guide, train, and advise other team members.

Responsibilities

• Support large to mid-sized enterprises across Financial Services and Healthcare verticals.
• Use systems including Dynamics 365, Salesforce, and PowerBI.
• Develop and maintain proficiency in Python, JavaScript, HTML, and tools such as VS Code, Cursor AI, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redshift, AWS Cloud Services, Snowflake, Tableau, and DOMO.
• Lead large, complex multi-product/solution sales opportunities using MS PowerPoint and MS Word to produce technical writing that combines technology and business value.
• Build visual architecture and solution designs using tools including Miro and Lucidchart.
• Serve as liaison between the customer/prospect and the technical teams, translating business requirements into technical requirements.
• Use Jira, Confluence, and Aha for idea, feature, and release submission and tracking.
• Utilize CX Product/Solution offerings, including Xponent, Interactive Messaging, and Precision Email.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Information Science, Computer Science, or a related field, plus 7 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a Solution Engineer, Senior related occupation.
• Experience supporting large to mid-sized enterprises across Financial Services and Healthcare verticals.
• Experience and proficiency in Python, JavaScript, HTML, and tools including VS Code, Cursor AI, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redshift, AWS Cloud Services, Snowflake, Tableau, and DOMO.
• Experience leading large, complex multi-product/solution sales opportunities with proficiency using MS PowerPoint and MS Word for technical writing and visual architecture/solution designs using Miro and Lucidchart.
• Experience serving as liaison between the customer/prospect and technical teams, translating business requirements into technical requirements.
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, and Aha for idea, feature, and release submission and tracking.
• Experience using CX Product/Solution offerings, including Xponent, Interactive Messaging, and Precision Email.

Pay

$171,454 - $201,827.34 per year
