About the role

The AI & Data Integration Solution Engineer plays a crucial role in the Global Public Sector team, focusing on the US Federal region. This role bridges the gap between legacy system connectivity and modern mission outcomes, ensuring that customers receive actionable insights from disparate data sources.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with account executives, customers, and partners to develop comprehensive technical account strategies and secure technical wins.
  • Lead activities such as product demonstrations, technical workshops, and architecture strategy sessions to support the sales process.
  • Conduct holistic discovery sessions to align with agency mission outcomes, starting with citizen services, public safety, and legacy modernization.
  • Design and implement secure, scalable architectures that meet regulatory requirements, including FedRAMP High and Impact Level 4/5/6.
  • Work with MuleSoft, Tableau, Data 360, and agentic AI platforms to integrate and analyze data, enabling intelligent, autonomous agents.
  • Contribute to the success of customers by defining the "data-to-agentic-AI journey" and designing compliant, AI-ready architectures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Systems (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong knowledge of related applications, relational databases, and web technologies.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a team environment, particularly in politically diverse settings.
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience, with a preference for 5 years or more in Solution Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, or Digital Transformation.
  • Hands-on experience or deep conceptual knowledge in Integration (MuleSoft), Data Analytics (Tableau), Unified Data Management (Data 360), and agentic AI platforms.
  • Expertise in two of the core data/integration capabilities plus prior experience with agentic AI.
  • Proven ability to partner with Account Executives to drive sales strategy and lead "Data + Agentic AI Discovery" from the start.
  • Deep understanding of "Trusted Context Foundations" for AI, including data grounding, metadata intelligence, and unified data.
  • Ability to work in highly regulated environments, such as those involving FedRAMP and IL4/5/6.

Qualifications

  • US citizenship is required.
  • Previous experience as a solution/sales engineer.
  • One or more of the following certifications: MuleSoft Certified Architect, Tableau Desktop/Server Specialist, Salesforce Data 360 Consultant, AI Associate credentials, or equivalent.
  • Deep understanding of Public Sector/DoD compliance and common government data silos.
  • Familiarity with enterprise data platforms, data governance, and MDM tools.
  • Background delivering AI solutions in highly regulated or mission-critical environments.

Skills

  • Architectural mindset: Design secure, composable architectures that scale within regulated government environments.
  • Technical depth: Hands-on experience or deep conceptual knowledge across Integration (MuleSoft), Data Analytics (Tableau), Unified Data Management (Data 360), and agentic AI platforms.
  • Agenic AI experience: Demonstrated experience with agentic AI solutions, including prior hands-on work designing or deploying intelligent agents, LLM integration strategies, orchestration frameworks, prompt engineering, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) patterns.
  • Strategic communication: Excellent ability to reframe technical challenges into mission and business value for C-level government executives and technical stakeholders.
  • AI readiness: Deep understanding of "Trusted Context Foundations" for AI, including data grounding, metadata intelligence, and unified data.
  • Collaboration & influence: Proven ability to partner early with Account Executives to drive sales strategy and lead "Data + Agentic AI Discovery" from day one.
