About the role

The Lead of Solution Consultancy will guide the solution consultants in designing the optimal Solution for each engagement using Innovapptive's Connected Worker Platform's Mobile Solution for Operators, Maintenance, and Warehouses. They will advise customers on adopting the best practices and recommended solutions integrated with SAP EAM, IM/WM/EWM and APM systems such as Aspen tech or GE Meridium. They will work closely with our product management team and engineers in India to prioritize and address value added requirements via JIRA.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership for the Solution Consulting team, aligning efforts with overall business objectives
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive solution consulting strategy, best practices and playbooks to drive revenue growth and client satisfaction
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of Solution Consultants
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that encourages continuous learning and development
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business challenges, goals and help solution consulting team develop As-Is and To-Be Process Flows
  • Lead and oversee As-Is and To-Be process assessments, maturity assessments, and transformation roadmaps
  • Translate operational pain points into clear value hypotheses, quantified benefits, and ROI-driven solution designs
  • Partner closely with Sales during pre-sales and late-stage deals to co-create differentiated, value-led solutions that resonate with executive buyers
  • Ensure solution designs explicitly tie to financial and operational outcomes (cost reduction, productivity, uptime, safety, compliance)
  • Guide customers on maintenance and reliability best practices, including PM/CM optimization, backlog management, planning & scheduling, wrench time improvement, inventory optimization, and reliability programs
  • Apply real-world experience in Enterprise Asset Management, Plant Operations, and MRO Warehousing to solution design decisions
  • Oversee the creation of detailed and impactful solution designs, ensuring alignment with client requirements, industry best practices and maximizing client’s ROI
  • Provide guidance on solution architecture, design, and implementation
  • Provide mentorship and instill the “Value Based Solution Design” culture among the solution consulting teams
  • Ensure the integration of value-based principles into solution consulting processes, minimizing gaps, and emphasizing the delivery of measurable value to clients
  • Collaborate with other departments, including sales, product development, and product management, to ensure on-time and high-quality solution delivery to the customer
  • Act as a liaison between Solution Consulting and Pre-Sales to drive alignment between sales, delivery and customer success
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to minimize solution design gaps, defect leakage, QA processes to measure the effectiveness, quality, and success of the Solution Consulting team
  • Travel 60%-80% of the times at the customer sites for conducting design workshops and training
  • Oversee and coordinate the review, assessment, and execution of client change requests, ensuring alignment with project goals and budgets while minimizing disruptions
  • Develop and maintain detailed project timelines, ensuring deliverables are met on schedule and resources are effectively allocated
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks to project milestones
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • 5+ years in a Solution Consulting leadership role, preferably in an enterprise SaaS or industrial software environment
  • Strong EAM domain industry experience with hands-on exposure to maintenance, reliability, and asset management processes
  • Consulting background or mindset with proven ability to structure problems, lead workshops, and influence executive stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience in value-based or ROI-led solutioning and selling
  • Prior experience working with SAP EAM and/or IBM Maximo (functional and integration-level understanding)
  • Proven success leading and mentoring 2–5+ Solution Consultants and building a consulting practice
  • Strong ability to develop As-Is / To-Be processes, solution narratives, and executive-ready presentations
  • Excellent communication skills—able to translate complex technical and operational concepts into business language
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science; Master’s degree preferred
  • Strongly Preferred Background in asset-intensive industries (Oil & Gas, Energy, Utilities, Chemicals, Mining, Manufacturing)
  • Experience selling or delivering digital transformation, reliability, or operational excellence programs
  • Exposure to APM, reliability engineering, or maintenance excellence frameworks
