Solution Consultant
Position Overview
We're searching for a Solution Consultant to serve alongside our Cytora sales team and serve our carrier customers in a consultative, pre-sales manner. You will be the crucial link in understanding a carrier’s business needs and our platform's technical capabilities, building trust and credibility with your expertise.
What You'll Do
- Lead operational and technical discovery with carrier prospects, understanding their business and challenges, and mapping their architecture, data flows, and integration points to surface where Cytora delivers the most value
- Utilize technical demonstrations and proof-of-concept configurations of Cytora's platform capabilities under active deal pressure to carrier C-suite executives, IT leaders, and architects
- Develop technical understanding of software capabilities and architecture for presentation and authored responses to RFIs/RFPs
- Cook up coordination site visits with prospects/clients
- Ensure hand-offs to and engage with supporting resources at the appropriate phase of the sale
- Stay current on carrier technology ecosystems, insurtech platform trends, the competitive landscape, AI-based capabilities, and emerging integration standards
Who We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in P&C insurance carrier operations and/or AI-driven technology (platform architecture, IT, or technical pre-sales)
- Deep familiarity with core systems (rating, billing, distribution, or data environments)
- Hands-on fluency with REST APIs, webhooks and data scripting
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical stakeholders (architects, IT leaders) and business stakeholders (COO, underwriting, distribution leaders)
- Strong presentation and documentation skills

- A valid driver's license and safe driving record required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in insurance and/or technology
