Solution Architect (TMS)

Location: Virtual within the US with 50% - 75% travel required.

About the role

Blue Yonder is a leading SaaS and AI-driven Global Supply Chain Solutions software product company. We are seeking multiple Solution Architects and Sr Solution Architects to join the Professional Services team, where your core focus is ensuring customers realize value from their Blue Yonder Transportation Management solutions.

The Solution Architect will serve as the lead functional consultant for Blue Yonder Transportation Management Systems solution implementations for Fortune 500 customers across the Americas region. In this role, you will design best-in-class solutions using a suite of products in the Transportation Management space and stay on the leading edge with our latest product innovations. You will act as the functional liaison among key stakeholders, including customer contacts, Project Managers, Technical Consultants, and 3rd Party Consultants, to drive the timely and successful delivery of the final solution.

Responsibilities

• Drive the design, optimization, and implementation of Blue Yonder Transportation Management software solutions for customers, utilizing industry best practices and process methodologies.
• Apply domain knowledge to fully understand and identify how Blue Yonder solutions can be configured and delivered to best meet customer requirements and business processes.
• Lead solution design to ensure clear construct, validation tasks, and timeline.
• Conduct and/or guide system integration, user acceptance testing, and deployment phases of the project to ensure a seamless transition.
• Sustain the balance between project scope, timeline, and requirements to ensure successful time to value and customer satisfaction.
• Assess business needs that fall outside the standard solution and/or scope, evaluating integration complexity, architecture constraints, and/or product roadmaps.
• Recognize and highlight incremental revenue opportunities with existing customers/projects.
• Communicate business cases to Product Management Group (PMG) and Product Development (PD) regarding customer-specific needs related to product functionality and enhancements.
• When not actively working on implementation projects, assist our support services group with support cases.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of specific experience working within Blue Yonder’s Transportation Management Systems, either as a customer or as a consultant implementing Blue Yonder solutions for customers (preferred).
• Relevant solutions consulting and implementation experience with other leading Transportation Management Solutions, such as IBM (Logistics & Supply Chain), Oracle (OTM), SAP, Manhattan, E2Open, or o9 Solutions, may be considered.
• Experience in a customer-facing role where you led requirement gathering, formulated software solutions, and persuaded stakeholders.
• Current or prior experience working in a management consulting organization or Supply Chain Center of Excellence preferred.

Skills

• Strong business analysis skills, including understanding and usage of statistical algorithms, inventory optimization concepts, and awareness of tactical planning on overall supply chain.
• Ability to prepare and deliver presentations for user, management, and executive-level audiences.
• Basic Excel skills (data cleansing, pivot tables).
• Ability to read and execute simple SQL queries (preferred).

Additional Preferred Abilities

• Ability to qualify for SF85P public trust security clearance.
• Ability to clear a background check and drug test, including fingerprints and photocopy of US passport or birth certificate.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, or Operations Research preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree and relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of an advanced degree.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $120,000 - $130,000 USD, plus a bonus component. The salary range reflects the anticipated base salary based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary by location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses, and other relevant factors. This role is also eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
