Responsibilities
- Provides technical guidance to the development of Salesforce and Marketing Cloud to support business and product strategies.
- Leads technical requirements gathering sessions and oversees and approves creation and maintenance of application and system design documentation.
- Successfully integrates Salesforce with Marketing Cloud.
- Works with Account Executives in a Sales Engineering function to appropriately scope project proposals.
- Works effectively individually and with Coastal Cloud and client members toward customer satisfaction and success.
- Takes direction from project team members and immediate supervisor.
- Sets and achieves necessary technical certifications.
- Manages multiple client engagements and works with associated team members.
- Runs workshops and develops and presents frameworks and methodologies to articulate delivery processes, operating models, solutions, and barriers to facilitate discussion.
- Identifies, creates, and enhances internal processes and methodologies based on recurring customer feedback and evolving industry standards.
- Understands and maps Business Processes & Challenges into our technical product suite, ensuring scalable, secure, comprehensive solution designs.
- Presents high-level overviews of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud architecture and integration capabilities.
- Identifies project issues/risks and presents alternatives to alleviate or resolve.
- Leads consultative engagements with clients on the technical and business challenges related to their digital marketing initiatives.
Requirements
- 8 years of experience, with a minimum of 3 years of Solution Architect experience (or a similar role).
- Excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Minimum of an active Marketing Cloud Consultant certifications.
- Applied knowledge of Salesforce and the Sales, Services, and Marketing functions.
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills, able to present complex concepts effectively at both the tactical and strategic/executive levels.
- Develops practical solutions and methodologies on the Salesforce platform.
- Strategic & technical thinking, highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Proven track record of working with multi-stakeholder teams, specifically IT, M&A, Infrastructure / Security, and Sales / Business Operations.
- Familiarity with data architecture/schema, including relational data models and SQL syntax, documentation of data models, and data flows.
- Familiarity with systems integrations such as CRM, Content Management, POS/Commerce, or Web Analytics preferred.
- Full-time permanent US work authorization.
Additional Requirements
- Education – Bachelors degree in a related area preferred.
- Travels with client or project team as needed.
