About the role
Drive consistent GCP adoption across 1500+ applications spanning multiple business units. Collaborate with product teams to evaluate workloads, estimate cloud costs, and support execution of modernization strategies. Provide architectural guidance, best practices, and frameworks to ensure scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions. Act as a trusted advisor to client leadership and product teams, ensuring alignment with enterprise cloud strategy. Establish architectural patterns, guardrails, and reusable assets to accelerate adoption. Partner with engineering teams during migration and modernization phases to resolve technical challenges.
Responsibilities
- Drive consistent GCP adoption across 1500+ applications spanning multiple business units.
- Collaborate with product teams to evaluate workloads, estimate cloud costs, and support execution of modernization strategies.
- Provide architectural guidance, best practices, and frameworks to ensure scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor to client leadership and product teams, ensuring alignment with enterprise cloud strategy.
- Establish architectural patterns, guardrails, and reusable assets to accelerate adoption.
- Partner with engineering teams during migration and modernization phases to resolve technical challenges.
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of core GCP services (Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud SQL, PubSub, MemoryStore, GCS, Networking, IAM etc.).
- Proven track record in modernizing legacy applications across diverse technology stacks.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing microservices, containerized workloads (Kubernetes/GKE), serverless solutions, and event-driven architectures.
- Ability to design scalable, resilient, and secure architectures in cloud environments.
- Strong client-facing communication, advisory, and presentation skills.
- Experience leading or contributing to enterprise-wide cloud adoption journeys.
- More than 10 years of relevant experience.
Desired Skills
- Familiarity with automotive domain applications and modernization challenges.
- Experience in estimating and optimizing cloud spend for large portfolios.
- Exposure to modern engineering practices supporting cloud-native delivery (DevOps & CI/CD).
- Experience leveraging Generative AI (e.g., Vertex AI, LLMs) to accelerate application modernization, automate assessments, and enhance developer productivity.
- Ability to influence organizational adoption of new technologies and practices.

Pay
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $100,000 to $200,000. Final compensation will depend on various factors, including geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
