If you are motivated and believe in the credit union philosophy of "People Helping People," join our team! Provide IT Solution Architecture to support SECU’s mission and values. Works as a Solution Architect for a domain or domains in Application Development and Support organization to architect, design, deliver, and support solutions and integrations to support business goals and objectives. Partner with Business Stakeholders and Technical Product Managers to prioritize and roadmap delivery schedule. Essential Responsibilities: (40 %) Architecture to Operate – Architect, Design and Deliver artifacts for the solutions supporting the program/projects to identify areas of opportunity. Leverage industry proven frameworks to deliver best-in-class solutions. Design with Supportability/Maintability in mind(20 %) Road mapping – Partner with key business lines/stakeholders, IT Enterprise Architects and Product Vendors resources to develop joint application/solution roadmaps. (20 %) Innovation – Promote and develop a culture which embraces technology innovation. Stay up to date on current trends and emerging technology solutions. Suggest training opportunities for developers to ensure teams are prepared for the future. Support the modernization of technologies and solutions.(10 %) Relationships – Partner with leaders across the organization in architecting, designing and development and delivery of the committed roadmap aligning to the strategy. Influence business and IT effectively challenging the legacy processes and practices.(10 %) Vendor Management – Build and maintain strong vendor relationship with current and potential engagements. Ensure team is effectively managing key relationships. Partner with vendors to plan upgrades and influence in the product roadmap Required Education & Experience (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities): Required 7 years of relevant experienceIT Solution Architecture experience working with Business & IT departmentsFluent in technology solutions, with a preference for experience within large scale financial institutionsAbility to see the end-to-end architecture of Systems. Applications and IntegrationsExperience in Architecture, Design, Development and built out of Solutions/IntegrationsExperience working in Legacy and Modern OnPrem and Cloud solution and applications with focus on Continuous Improvement and Operational ExcellenceAbility to communicate and influence Business and IT Teams, Management and Executive/Leadership. Ability to work with a technology team that uses an agile development process and structure to ensure high quality, timely delivery of features and innovative enhancements in conjunction with other teamsExtensive experience working in large, enterprise level programs/projects, preferably with a background in Financial ServicesCommitted to protecting members, employees, and our brands by incorporating security and compliance in all decisions and seeking opportunities to improve our security posture.Demonstrated ability to create/generate architectural artifacts, including design patterns.Familiarity with compliance regulations, IT and Information Security frameworkAdvanced knowledge of REST principles, service-oriented architecture (SOA), and API strategy development, including experience with API management platformsExpertise in continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) principles and workflows, with experience in implementing these principles in cloud environments.Experience in any of IPaaS integration solutions such as (AnyPoint MuleSoft platform, IBM Cloud Pak for Integration, Boomi, or others) is a plusExposure to docker/containerization in any of major Cloud solutions (AWS/Azure/GCP)5+ years of relevant experience or high School Diploma or GED and 10 years leading within Application Development and Technology teams, preferably within Financial Industry Preferred Education & Experience (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities): Preferred education: Bachelor’s Degree or higherPreferred 7+ years of relevant experience or high School Diploma or GED and 12 years leading within Application Development and Technology teams, preferably within Financial Industry Job Environment & Physical Requirements: Hybrid work environment with at least 2 days a week in officeSitting for prolonged periodsComputer usage for prolonged periodsTelephone usage for prolonged periodsAfter hours escalation support SECU provides equal employment opportunity to all qualified persons regardless of race, color, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, genetic information, disability, veteran status, or other classification protected by law.
