Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, GIS, or Geoinformatics with strong academic performance.
Requirements
- 6–7 years of experience as a GIS Developer (Senior).
- 6–7 years of experience developing websites and custom web mapping applications using .NET, ESRI ArcGIS, ArcObjects, and ArcGIS Server-side programming.
- Proven experience with Microsoft .NET technologies, including ASP.NET and ADO.NET.
- Proficiency in languages: C#, VB.Net, SQL/T-SQL, JavaScript/DHTML, VBScript, HTML, XML, and familiarity with Google Maps API.
- Experience in web mapping application development using AGOL (ArcGIS Online), including Web AppBuilder, custom templates, widgets, ArcGIS Silverlight API, JavaScript API, and ArcGIS Python scripting.
- Experience with SQL Server 2005/2008/2012, Oracle 11g/12c, including schema design, complex SQL, stored procedures, and views.
- Experience working with ArcSDE geodatabase platform.
- Experience developing websites using Telerik’s R.A.D. Editor (preferred).
- Some experience with front-end UI (User Interface) design.
- Ability to write Oracle geospatial SQL procedures to find intersections between layers and generate new geospatial data points using SQL.
- Complete understanding of Oracle SDO_GEOMETRY and related data types.
- Knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS Server published map services, ESRI ArcGIS Desktop, queries, joins, and map file configuration.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to define needs and customize existing technology to meet those needs.
- Work on GIS (Geographic Information System) product development.
- Demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and strong teamwork in a global virtual team environment spanning North America and India, often across multiple time zones.
- Handle multiple roles or projects simultaneously.
- Act as a self-motivated team player committed to delivering on time with minimal supervision.
- Perform R&D related to development work.
- Maintain strong verbal and written English communication skills.
