Solid Tumor Program Medical Director Associate or Professor of Clinical Pediatrics (Hematology-Oncology)-CHLA

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical and research activities within the Solid Tumor Program at the Cancer and Blood Disease Institute (CBDI) at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA).
• Work with CBDI leadership on Program expansion.
• Conduct research and further advance a leading research program that integrates laboratory and clinical science to develop and deliver innovative cancer therapies for pediatric solid tumors.
• Participate in the ACGME-accredited pediatric hematology-oncology fellowship training program and 1-year advanced subspecialty fellowships in AYA Oncology, Neuro-Oncology, Transplantation/Cellular Therapy and Coagulation.

Requirements

• International recognition as a leader in the field of pediatric hematology-oncology.
• Experience in overseeing clinical and research activities in a pediatric hematology-oncology setting.
• Proven track record of conducting research and developing innovative cancer therapies for pediatric solid tumors.
• Academic appointment through USC Keck School of Medicine at the level of Associate Professor or Professor, appropriate to training and experience.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field or MD with a PhD in a related field.
• Board certification in pediatrics and hematology/oncology.
• Experience in managing a large clinical trials operation.
• Membership at the USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Pay

The annual base salary range for this position is $116,505-$517,500.
