About the Role

Manufacturing and machining of Blisk (Bladed Disk) components using Heat Resistant Super Alloy (Inconel 718). A blisk is a single engine component comprising a rotor disc and blades, either integrally cast and machined from a solid piece of material or made by welding individual blades to the rotor disc. This process eliminates the need for mechanical attachment (screws, bolts, etc.), reducing component count, decreasing drag, and increasing air compression efficiency within the engine.

Responsibilities

• Turning & Grooving operations on Inconel 718 blisk components
• Rough Milling using high-feed techniques
• Rough Milling for initial material removal
• Finish Milling to achieve final dimensions and surface quality
