Solar Welder I - Saddle
SUMMARY
Mortenson is currently seeking a Solar Welder that will be responsible for the preparation, handling and supplying of materials. Sets up and performs welds of moderate complexity from blueprints and specifications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Load and unload equipment and materials
- Responsible for the preparation, handling and supplying of materials
- Sets up and performs welds of moderate complexity from blue prints and specifications
- Assist engineering with prints and documentation design
- Conducting daily activities according to documented quality system procedures and work instructions
- Basic problem solving techniques and troubleshooting; as related to welding component parts
- General cleanup and clearing of debris
- Lifting up to 50 lbs and walking a minimum of 10 miles a day in various weather conditions
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum one (1) year of experience
- Current driver’s license
- Strong teamwork orientation; detail orientation; strong organizational skills
- Active listening skills and effective communication, including an openness to diverse input and feedback
- Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling: up to 50 lbs.
