About This Role

SpartanX is seeking motivated Solar Installers to support residential solar installation operations. This role involves installing solar PV systems, assembling and installing racking systems, and performing other tasks to ensure systems are installed safely and efficiently.

• Install residential solar PV systems according to company and manufacturer standards
• Assemble and install racking systems, solar panels, and related equipment
• Perform roof work safely and efficiently while maintaining clean workmanship
• Aid with electrical and mechanical portions of solar installations
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment safely
• Follow project layouts, installation plans, and operational procedures
• Maintain organized job sites and ensure materials are handled properly
• Communicate professionally with crew leaders, homeowners, and operations teams
• Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting materials as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Previous solar installation, roofing, construction, or outdoor labor experience preferred
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Comfortable working on rooftops, ladders, and in outdoor environments
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment safely throughout the workday
• Professional attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Preferred qualifications: Previous residential solar installation experience, OSHA 10 certification, experience using fall protection and roof safety equipment, basic electrical or construction knowledge
