About This Role

SpartanX is seeking motivated Solar Installers to support residential solar installation operations. This role requires hands-on work, outdoor tasks, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates are safety-conscious, mechanically adept, dependable, and comfortable working on rooftops and ladders.

What You’ll Do

• Install residential solar PV systems according to company and manufacturer standards
• Assemble and install racking systems, solar panels, and related equipment
• Perform roof work safely and efficiently while maintaining clean workmanship
• Aid with electrical and mechanical portions of solar installations
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment safely
• Follow project layouts, installation plans, and operational procedures
• Maintain organized job sites and ensure materials are handled properly
• Communicate professionally with crew leaders, homeowners, and operations teams
• Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting materials as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Previous solar installation, roofing, construction, or outdoor labor experience preferred
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Comfortable working on rooftops, ladders, and in outdoor environments
• Ability to work efficiently in a physically demanding role
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Professional attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous residential solar installation experience, OSHA 10 certification, experience using fall protection and roof safety equipment, basic electrical or construction knowledge
