Key Responsibilities
- Verify that all installed equipment matches the approved plan set.
- Paint conduit and other exposed materials as required to meet code and aesthetic standards.
- Perform minor stucco and drywall repairs as needed.
- Install required labels and placards on all solar and electrical equipment.
- Review and dispute inspection corrections when appropriate, providing clear documentation.
- Commission systems, verify production output, and confirm system operational status.
- Complete remaining finish work left by the installation crew to ensure job site readiness.
- Provide daily updates on inspection results and project status to the operations team.
- Maintain compliance with safety standards, NEC codes, and utility requirements.
- Communicate effectively with city/county inspectors, project managers, and team members.
- Ensure all work performed meets the company’s quality standards and promotes customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in solar installation, electrical work, or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of NEC code requirements and solar industry standards is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Able to perform light stucco, drywall, and finish work.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working on rooftops and ladders.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
