Responsibilities
- Electrical wiring of solar array/system (DC and AC) including installing raceways around residential applications such as roofs, attics, and walls
- Install electrical to interconnect solar panels to the grid
- Troubleshoot system problems and resolve electrical issues
- Work with local inspectors to satisfy local requirements and expectations
- Attend mandatory training sessions on new products, installation methodology, and safety
- Troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment
Qualifications
- 2+ years of electrical installation and repair experience
- Working knowledge of current NEC code
- Experience replacing residential electrical services and distribution panels
- PV Solar installation experience is preferred
- Experience with all required hand and power tools associated with the electrical trade
- Ability to read and interpret single line drawings
- Journeyman Electricians License
- Extensive knowledge of residential electrical and structural systems, blueprints, and spec sheets
- Must hold and maintain a valid driver’s license
- OSHA 30 Certification
- Proficient in the installation of grid-tied and micro inverter applications
- NABCEP certification
