Solar Electrical Journeyman - Spanish Moss

Summary

Mortenson is seeking an Electrical Journeyman for utility scale solar projects. Responsibilities include installing and directing electrical work, while qualifications require a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of related experience, and trade or technical school certification.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit using hand tools
• Safely use hand and power tools after proper training
• Lift, position, and fasten objects
• Prepare, handle, and supply materials and tools for electrical trades
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work under immediate supervision following standard instructions and procedures
• Build relationships with diverse colleagues and maintain professional customer service skills
• Perform repetitive hand, arm, leg movements
• Lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 lbs with assistance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum two years of related experience
• Trade or technical school certification/diploma
• Project specific/Mortenson training
• Current driver’s license
• Ability to speak and understand English (Spanish is a plus)
• Shown emotional intelligence
• Ability to operate various equipment
