About the role
We're looking for a Solar Construction Project Manager on behalf of our client. This is a 2-months contract assignment.
Responsibilities
- Site Management with overseeing ground-mounted system installation and coordinating with contractors to ensure adherence to local Avon, NY solar regulations.
- Grid Interconnection: Manage technical aspects of connecting high-capacity solar systems with the Solar Farm. Handle project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and team member communication from development through commissioning.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with technical installation on commercial solar systems.
- Strong ability to read and understand solar energy system drawings and schematics.
Helpful Qualifications
- A two or four-year Technical Degree.
- Experience with Helioscope or similar solar design software.
- Background managing commercial solar projects from 50kW to 1.5MW scale.
- Familiarity with utility interconnection processes and AHJ permitting.
Pay
The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $40.00/hr. to $45.00/hr.
Schedule
This is a 2-months contract assignment.
