The Solar Construction Manager plays a critical leadership role in delivering high-quality commercial solar projects that power businesses and communities across Florida and the Caribbean. This position is responsible for leading all field operations from project kickoff through completion, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, on time, and on budget. As a key driver of project success, you will manage crews, subcontractors, materials, schedules, and quality control while serving as the on-site representative of Advanced Green Technologies. Your leadership directly impacts production performance, team morale, client satisfaction, and profitability. AGT is a solar contractor specializing in the design, procurement, and construction (EPC) of commercial, industrial, and utility-scale solar energy projects for clients in Florida and the Caribbean. Responsibilities

  • Lead all field operations from project kickoff through completion
  • Ensure work is executed safely, efficiently, on time, and on budget
  • Manage crews, subcontractors, materials, schedules, and quality control
  • Serve as the on-site representative of Advanced Green Technologies
  • Uphold company values and comply with company norms, policies, directives, and procedures
  • Follow all safety procedures and protocols
  • Honor and protect confidential and proprietary documents and information
  • Satisfy work schedule requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of commercial construction management experience
  • Proven experience managing field employees and subcontractors
  • Commercial roofing and/or solar construction experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
  • Successful pre-employment drug screening
  • Comfortable climbing ladders up to 60 ft tall
  • Ability to lift 100 lbs or more
  • Successful background check
