Responsibilities
- Receive and prepare soil and geotechnical samples for testing.
- Perform various soil and geotechnical tests, including grain size analysis, Atterberg limits, compaction tests, soil moisture content, specific gravity, permeability, consolidation, direct shear, compressive strength, triaxial, etc.
- Log and record test results accurately.
- Maintain lab equipment and document procedures.
- Collaborate with team members and provide technical support and training.
Requirements
- 1-5 years of experience in a laboratory setting, particularly with soil and/or geotechnical testing, including relevant laboratory experience/coursework at the University level.
- Bachelor's degree in soil science, geosciences, or a related field.
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and instruments.
