Soil Labratory Technician - Mi-Tech Services, Inc.

Responsibilities

• Receive and prepare soil and geotechnical samples for testing.
• Perform various soil and geotechnical tests, including grain size analysis, Atterberg limits, compaction tests, soil moisture content, specific gravity, permeability, consolidation, direct shear, compressive strength, triaxial, etc.
• Log and record test results accurately.
• Maintain lab equipment and document procedures.
• Collaborate with team members and provide technical support and training.

Requirements

• 1-5 years of experience in a laboratory setting, particularly with soil and/or geotechnical testing, including relevant laboratory experience/coursework at the University level.
• Bachelor's degree in soil science, geosciences, or a related field.
• Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and instruments.
