Software Testing Solution Consultant

Role Description

UST is seeking a Software Testing Solution Consultant to perform risk-based testing, stakeholder management across multi-system environments, and support quality engineering & process activities.

Responsibilities

• Execution governance and dependency/release management
• Dependency/release management, estimation, vendor/offshore management, Agile/SAFe
• Quality Engineering & Process — defect leakage control/RCA (Expert, 8+), QA metrics/KPIs, test management tools (JIRA/qTest), test data & environment management
• Technical & Automation — automation framework oversight, API/middleware E2E testing CI/CD & DevOps, SQL/data validation, performance testing, and AI/GenAI in testing (emerging)

Requirements

• Expert: 8+ years — owning end-to-end quality delivery across integrated supply chain systems (Oracle ERP, o9 planning)
• Stakeholder Management & Communication — cross-team dependency & release management, estimation, resource & capacity planning
• Defect Management & Leakage Control (RCA, metrics)
• QA Metrics, KPIs, Dashboards & Reporting
• Test Management Tools (JIRA, qTest)
• Test Data & Environment Management
• Strong: 6+ years — automation strategy & framework oversight (Selenium, Playwright, Tosca, TestGrid, REST API, Appium, SQL)
• Automation Strategy & Framework Oversight (Selenium, Playwright, Tosca, TestGrid, REST API, SQL)
• CI/CD & DevOps (GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
• Intermediate: 3-4 years — AI / ML / GenAI in Testing
• Intermediate: 1-2 years — AI / ML / GenAI in Testing

Qualifications

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.
