Software Test Specialist

T-Rex has been tracking a recent trend of job offer scams. These scams start with an unsolicited email or LinkedIn message from a fake or impersonated recruiter that states the candidate meets a skillset that the recruiter is looking for. That is often followed up with a false screening questionnaire and even an interview for the nonexistent position. After this, the candidate receives an official-looking job offer. In some cases, there is also a request for a large payment to acquire office equipment, such as a laptop. The scammer tells the victim that they will be reimbursed for the purchase of the office equipment, but of course this never happens.

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative solutions to complex problems in the field of data analytics. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust data models and algorithms
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements
• Perform data analysis to identify trends and insights
• Present findings to stakeholders in clear and concise reports
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in data analytics

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• At least 3 years of professional experience in data analytics or a related field
• Strong proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and machine learning libraries
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
