Software Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, project managers, and designers to ensure high-quality products.
• Identify and document defects in software applications.
• Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains intact after changes are made.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve coding standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in software testing or a related field.
• Proficiency in at least one automation testing tool such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems like Git.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of SQL and familiarity with database management systems.

Skills

• Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) tools.
• Understanding of software architecture principles.

Pay

• $60,000 - $70,000 annually.
