Software Test Engineer

About the role

The Position

Responsibilities

• Closely work with other Software Test Engineers and Software Developers to design and maintain both automated and manual tests.
• Ensure products meet the highest standards and specifications through testing new products, new features, and software releases.
• Develop both automated and manual test cases from product requirements.
• Use tools like Python/Robot Framework & Playwright/Selenium to create automated tests.
• Utilize oscilloscopes, frequency counters, and other instruments to test embedded software systems.
• Configure network technologies such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, OSPF, and BGP.
• Collaborate with project teams to understand their needs and develop tests to resolve their problems.
• Create and maintain traceability between test cases and requirements.
• Participate in daily SCRUM/Kanban meetings.
• Work with Customer Service to resolve field-related issues.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional global teams towards common goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information, or related field.
• A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in software testing, preferably in an agile environment.
• Experience with Test Management tools.
• Experience with automation frameworks such as Python, Robot Framework (a plus).
• Experience using AI tools and intelligent agents to improve testing workflows, streamline processes, and increase operational efficiency (a big plus).

Qualifications

• ISQTB certified (nice to have).
• Effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Strong collaboration abilities, both in-person and with remote global teams.
• Ability to have fun!

Skills

• Software testing in an agile environment.
• Automation frameworks such as Python, Robot Framework.
• AI tools and intelligent agents for testing workflows.
