Software & System Development Engineer

About the role

This position focuses on developing infotainment software, particularly head unit systems, to create a leading infotainment platform applicable to multiple future vehicle models with emphasis on C.A.S.E. (Connected Autonomous Shared Electrification) and quality.

Responsibilities

• Supplier Management: Learn to oversee software integration partners, guiding them through design and maturation processes.
• Infotainment Software Testing: Develop skills for hands-on testing, creating requirements, and verifying system and vehicle performance across configurations.
• Documentation: Produce clear reports, presentations, and technical documents to record development activities and communicate with experts.
• Analysis: Interpret test results, predict performance issues, and develop specifications for system components, including hardware, software, and communication requirements.
• Project Management: Communicate development progress and component status across departments.
• Strategic Planning & Innovation: Research industry trends, influence future infotainment features, and propose new functions to meet market demands.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Working Conditions: Involves vehicle testing, sitting, standing, reaching, and exposure to various environments and signals, with physical activities including lifting and pushing equipment.
