Software Sales Engineer
Responsibilities
- Evaluate customer requirements and propose suitable solutions from software product suite.
- Conduct live customer webinars and product presentations to support the sales network.
- Manage sales opportunities from quotation to closure.
- Use customer parts to simulate the benefits and features of software products.
- Work with TRUMPF Sales network to present and quote software products for customer projects.
- Support Sales network at trade shows or customer seminars as needed across the country.
- Participate in competitive analysis and justify benefits of our offering.
- Travel as needed in USMCA 15%.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years Sheet Metal Industry or similar experience.
- Expert knowledge in CAD/CAM programming software and sheet metal manufacturing processes preferred.
- Existing knowledge of either TRUMPF software solutions, or competitor software preferred.
- General knowledge of ERP, MES, MRP are also preferred.
- Strong computer skills as well as strong presentation and communicating skills, with a professional attitude a must.
- Ability to manage the entire sales cycle of the product.
