Software Reliability Engineer (Temporary FTE)

About the role

Nuro is seeking an experienced engineer to join our team. This role will play a key part in Nuro's transition from delivering food and packages to licensing its autonomous technology to other companies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain autonomous driving software
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate autonomous driving systems into vehicles
• Contribute to the design and implementation of safety protocols and testing procedures
• Work closely with product managers and engineers to ensure that the technology meets customer needs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in autonomous vehicle development
• Experience with C++, Python, and ROS (Robot Operating System)
• Strong understanding of computer vision, sensor fusion, and machine learning
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Skills

• Proficiency in C++ and Python
