Join us in shaping a new era in space and find a career that's built for you. Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full time Software Quality Engineer Associate to join our team supporting the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) program.

Responsibilities

• Support the software engineering lifecycle following the program Software Development Plan (SDP) to include requirements analysis, object oriented analysis & design, code & unit test, integration, and support to formal test/delivery.
• Experience and/or knowledge of languages such as C or C++.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen; this position will require Final Secret government security clearance.
• Desired Skills:
  • Ability to write code in C, C++, or Java
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency – Advanced use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related tools.

  • Agile/Lean Development Experience – Support software development teams operating under various Agile frameworks.

  • Toolset Expertise – Hands-on experience with software development and planning tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Code Collaborator.
  • Process & Product Evaluation – Conduct assessments to verify compliance, effectiveness, and continuous-improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required to apply.
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle models.
• Software Quality, Software Engineering, or Systems Engineering experience in Requirements Analysis, Design/Development, Product Integration and Test.
• Ability to interpret software design and code.

Skills

• Ability to write code in C, C++, or Java.
