Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain production software using Python and related technologies.
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites using the Robot Framework and Python to validate application functionality.
- Investigate, debug, and resolve software defects, implementing bug fixes and enhancements across the codebase.
- Collaborate with software engineers, systems engineers, and product stakeholders to define technical solutions and ensure software meets functional and quality requirements.
- Participate in the design, implementation, code review, and testing of new features, ensuring maintainable, scalable, and well-tested software.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and engineering tooling to support continuous integration, automated testing, and software delivery.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including test strategies, design documentation, and engineering best practices.
- Perform integration, regression, and system-level testing to validate software quality prior to release.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree minimum.
- Minimum 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Qualifications

- Due to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People's Republic of China national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen.
Skills
- Strong programming experience in Python.
- Experience developing automated tests using Robot Framework or comparable automation frameworks.
- Experience debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving software defects in complex systems.
- Experience working within Agile software development environments.
- Experience developing cloud-native applications using AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure.
- Experience designing automated testing frameworks and improving software quality through automation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar build and deployment systems.
- Experience with Git, Linux, PostgreSQL, Redis, InfluxDB, and Elasticsearch.
- Understanding of distributed systems, containerized applications, and modern software deployment practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently investigate technical issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering teams.
- Self-motivated with a passion for continuous learning, improving engineering processes, and delivering high-quality software.
