About the role

We're looking for a Technical Project Manager who thrives at the intersection of product, technology, and client consulting.

This isn't a traditional project management role focused solely on schedules and status updates. You'll lead product discovery, facilitate workshops, define project scope, manage budgets and timelines, and partner closely with engineering and design teams to deliver custom software solutions.

You'll manage multiple client engagements simultaneously while serving as the primary point of contact, helping clients navigate complex technical decisions and ensuring projects are delivered successfully.

Responsibilities

• Lead product discovery engagements by gathering business requirements and identifying user needs
• Facilitate client workshops and strategic planning sessions
• Translate ambiguity into clear product requirements and implementation plans
• Develop project scopes, timelines, budgets, and delivery roadmaps
• Manage multiple concurrent software development projects
• Partner closely with Product Designers and Software Engineers throughout delivery
• Collaborate with distributed and offshore development teams
• Identify project risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies
• Drive technical discussions and help guide architectural decisions
• Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to executive stakeholders
• Improve project delivery processes by incorporating AI and automation where appropriate
• Ensure successful delivery of custom software applications that meet client expectations

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing custom software development projects
• Experience leading software projects from discovery through implementation
• Strong understanding of Agile software development methodologies
• Experience defining project scope, budgets, timelines, and delivery plans
• Ability to facilitate executive-level client meetings and workshops
• Technical knowledge sufficient to work effectively with engineering teams
• Experience managing cross-functional teams including Product, Design, and Engineering
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience managing multiple concurrent client engagements
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within healthcare technology or digital health
• Product Management or Product Discovery experience
• Consulting or digital agency background
• Experience working with offshore development teams
• Familiarity with AI tools and AI-assisted software delivery
• Experience with SaaS, cloud applications, or enterprise software

Pay

$120,000 - $190,000
