Software Manager, Networking
About the role
NVIDIA is seeking an experienced Software Manager to lead a team developing the NVLINK switch Operation System (OS) and firmware. This role is critical to NVIDIA's next generation networking technologies and large-scale deployment in High-Performance Computing (HPC) data centers.
Responsibilities
- Managing and leading a high impact team of software and firmware developers
- Serving as the primary technical point of contact for strategic customers, leading major customer integrations with our NVLINK technology
- Owning development of major features end-to-end
- Being actively hands-on (50%) in OS software coding and debugging
- Collaborating with off-shore teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar technical field or equivalent experience
- 8+ overall years of technical experience; 3+ years of experience managing a team
- Python/C/C++ programming skills
- Experience leading teams in developing software/firmware, and mentoring
- Ability to self-teach and to learn quickly
Qualifications
- Linux & Networking experience
- Working face to face with customers
- Masters degree
- Excellent social and written communication skills
- Building AI flows, agents, for enhancing the development efficiency

Pay
Base salary range: $224,000 - $356,500 for Level 3, and $272,000 - $431,250 for Level 4. Eligible for equity and benefits.
