We are looking for a Linux systems engineer/integrator with experience creating custom Linux images in a fully automated and repeatable environment. Responsibilities Partner with an industry-leading team of Engineers, Artists, Designers and Producers to deliver high-quality holographic experiences and code components that power our services and SDKs. Work with state-of-the-art next generation hardware(HMDs, sensors)and software. Customize Linux-based Images for use in automation and production systems. Embody the Culture and Values of Microsoft Required Skills 3 years' experience building and customizing Linux images. Experience in creation of golden images which are used by others. Documentation authoring & maintenance 3 years’ experience with Bash scripting 3 years' experience with RHEL-based distros (Centos, Oracle, etc.) 3 years’ experience building pipelines that create and customize Linux images. 3 years’ experience with build automation suites (Ansible, Puppet, Packer, etc.) 3 years’ experience with automating system maintenance tasks (log backup & rotation, auditing, etc.) Desirable Skills There are plenty of other skills that aren’t required, but you’ll find useful in this role.
