Responsibilities
- Maintain, update, and secure existing Linux systems on both classified and unclassified networks in support of Cyber investigations and operations.
- Optimize, maintain, and secure Linux systems to ensure optimum performance with minimal downtime.
- Contribute to improving existing processes and provide surge support for various initiatives in areas related to their area of expertise.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 4 years of experience working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.X, 8.X, 9.X with a strong command-line interface (CLI) skillset (additional 2 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree).
- Experience securing Linux systems with DISA STIG requirements.
- Experience with Red Hat based tools such as Ansible and Red Hat Satellite.
- Familiarity with at least one common scripting language such as Python, Perl, bash, etc.
- Experience with virtualization tools (Vmware, KVM, Proxmox).
Preferred Requirements
- Experience with monitoring solutions such as Icinga2 or Nagios.
- Experience and / or willingness to learn DevOps and Automation.
- Familiarity with the DIACAP and/or RMF accreditation processes, specifically with configuring Linux systems in compliance with the Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
- Experience with maintaining a secure, standard OS build process.
- Experience installing and managing PostgreSQL.
Qualifications
Security Clearance Required: Must have a current/active Top Secret / SCI.
