Software Integration Engineer 3 (Systems & Cloud) with Security Clearance

About the role

The Software Integration Engineer will be responsible for the integration, test, deployment, and troubleshooting of various production-ready mission services deployed in both on-premises enclave and AWS Cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Integrate, install, configure, upgrade, compile, and support COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.
• Develop Bash/Python scripts to automate manual processes.
• Perform Linux System Administration tasks.
• Install, configure, and sustain COTS/GOTS/FOSS software in a Linux environment.
• Utilize DevOps Tooling for CI/CD and Git.
• Manage Cloudera Hadoop ecosystem components like NiFi, HDFS, Map/Reduce.
• Work with multiple NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Accumulo.
• Use containerization technologies like Docker, Podman, and containerd.
• Implement IaC principles and automation tools like Ansible, Salt, and Puppet.
• Monitor systems using tools such as Prometheus/Grafana.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• At least 8 years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.
• Five (5) years of full-time Computer Science directly related work that can be substituted for a degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• An industry recognized professional certification as defined in the TT0s may substitute for 1 year of experience.
• A Master’s degree in computer science or related field may substitute for 2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools.
• Proficient in developing Bash/Python scripts to automate manual processes.
• Foundational knowledge of DevOps Tooling.
• Experience with Cloudera Hadoop ecosystem components.
• Experience with multiple NoSQL databases.
• Experience with containerization technologies.
• Demonstrated experience using system monitoring tools.

Skills

• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker, PodMan, containerd.
• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence).
• AWS Cloud experience.

Pay

$220,000 - $240,000
