About the Role
We are seeking a Software/Hardware Integration Engineer to join the SPY-6 Family of Radars (FoR) Infrastructure Development/Integration Team. This team provides the Operating System framework and integrates software developed on various hardware platforms, primarily interfacing with RedHat Linux and configuring Windows systems within a Layer3 network.
Candidates will work across the infrastructure development life cycle, including development using Configuration Management practices, problem tracking, OS-level configurations to support applications and Cyber requirements, system installation, and field operations.
Responsibilities
- Configure and install Operating Systems (RHEL).
- Configure and install Network Switches (Dell, Cisco, etc.) and other network devices responsible for providing program system requirements (NAS devices, terminal servers, etc.).
- Address emergency situations that stop the pipeline quickly and efficiently.
- Collaborate in a team setting with engineers of all levels.
- Debug and correct stability issues in software baselines.
- Perform integration and testing of real-time embedded software, application software, and tools that run on a Linux operating system.
- Maintain and enhance tooling infrastructure.
- Occasional domestic and international travel may be required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
- 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Perl, Python, Bash).
- Entry-level experience with ClearCase, Git, or other configuration management tools.
- Entry-level experience with Linux operating systems.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance (DoD Secret).
- U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with DevSecOps and test automation using Jenkins and Grafana for virtualization.
- Experience with virtualization and RedHat Linux.
- Experience with software languages such as C, C++, Java.
- Experience with Collaborator or other source code review tools.
- Experience with Coverity or other static analysis tools.
- Experience with GIT, Jira, Artifactory, BitBucket, Coverity, Grafana.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $57,200 – $108,800 USD. The range is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Factors considered include role, function, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
