About the Role

Software Engineering Developer 1 candidates must have an active TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop / maintain ground software for satellite data analysis, data exploitation algorithms, and/or data processing systems
• Perform microservice development using Python
• Interface with and help build full stack web applications using Python, Django, and cloud technologies (AWS with CloudFormation)
• Work with Agile, DevSecOps, CI, CD concepts (Jenkins, test automation, etc.)
• Perform unit-level software testing for all assigned features and support integration testing as applicable
• Provide system administration support for the cloud-based development environments or dedicated stand-alone systems identified in the program architecture
• Lead and mentor technical teams
• Collaborate with internal and external customers to maintain a positive and productive work environment
• Support junior engineers and review work products at multiple levels
• Develop / maintain training materials
• Support risk and opportunity assessments

Requirements

• BS degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical field
• 2 or more years related experience

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required

Pay

The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is $108,000 to $138,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
