About the role
Lockheed Martin Space in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a highly skilled individual to perform as an Associate Manager and Control Account Manager (CAM) for the Meridian program’s Enterprise Integration Team. This position will serve as a functional manager for 5-10 software engineers.
Responsibilities
- Establish and assess progress of multiple Control Accounts (CA) and Work Packages (WP).
- Define and assess completion of scope against the work breakdown structure and organization breakdown structure in accordance with Agile planning and program integrated master schedule.
- Plan, assign, and determine program performance based on earned value techniques, using Agile processes.
- Ensure time-phased budget reflects contractual requirements.
- Review data for supporting cost and schedule analysis, including identifying and communicating risks and opportunities.
- Supply status and updates to the program schedule and Jira planning.
- Provide objective progress assessments to the program stakeholders.
- Prepare, approve, and accept Work Authorization Documents.
- Lead and coordinate technical product development and reviews through the design lifecycle.
- Perform functional leadership responsibilities, including workforce management (re-assignments, placements, recruitment, selection of new employees, and terminations).
- Personnel management (training, mentoring, career development, performance, and compensation management).
- Manage software development activities.
- Coordinate subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
- Oversee the design, development, documentation, and testing of software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment.
- Apply the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle.
- Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software.
- Ensure software standards are met.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technical discipline or closely related field, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Experience with Cost Account Management and/or Earned Value Management.
- Experience coordinating across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Final Secret Security Clearance required.

Pay
Full-Time Salary Range: $120,600.00 - $224,000.00
