Software Engineer - Web Developer (TS Clearance CI Poly Eligible)

About the role

North Point Technology is seeking a TS Cleared Software Engineer to support a critical mission. The position involves developing cutting-edge intelligence and geospatial data management applications and services for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA).

Responsibilities

• Participate in a software development Scrum team
• Assist with software requirements verification
• Contribute to software development and operational support
• Ensure Section 508 Compliance
• Research and learn new programming tools and techniques
• Create web layouts from static images
• Create views and templates in full-stack frameworks like Rails, Express, or Django

Requirements

• Frontend web development using modern techniques and frameworks (HTML5, CSS3, LESS, SASS, Responsive Design, Bourbon, Twitter Bootstrap)
• JavaScript development using modern standards (strict mode compliance, modularization techniques, frameworks and libraries like jQuery, Backbone.js, Ember.js, D3)
• Consuming RESTful APIs
• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Lean)
• Version control systems (Git, GitHub)
• Use of open-source solutions and community
• Creating web layouts from static images
• Creating views and templates in full-stack frameworks like Rails, Express, or Django

Preferred Qualifications

• Kubernetes
• Docker
• Continuous Integration and Deployment Tools (Git, Jenkins, Puppet, Docker)
• Agile SW development methodologies
