Software Engineer, Voice and Workflow Automation

About the role

You'll sit between customers and the product, spending real time inside behavioral health clinics with clinicians, billers, and admissions staff to identify manual work and ship software—primarily LLM pipelines and voice agents—that automates it and holds up in production.

Responsibilities

• Own problems end to end: scope with customers, build, ship, and ensure the clinic relies on the solution.
• Build and run production LLM pipelines and voice agents for intake, payer calls, and compliance checks before clinician finalization.
• Spend a large share of time with customers on‑site and on calls to understand workflows before building.
• Make product decisions yourself (no PMs) and ship features in days.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a software engineer (ideally 8+).
• Have shipped LLM‑powered features or voice AI products to real users, not just prototypes or research.

Qualifications

• High agency: owned a project from inception to completion without being handed a spec.
• Comfortable in front of customers and enjoy turning messy workflows into working software.

Pay

Competitive base salary plus equity, based on qualifications and level of experience.

Based out of the New York City office, with remote flexibility for engineers with 8+ years of experience.
