About the Role

We're looking for Software Engineers who are passionate about building high-quality products that solve meaningful customer problems. As a Software Engineer at Forage, you'll work across the product development lifecycle—from shaping requirements and designing technical solutions to implementing, testing, deploying, and iterating on features. You'll collaborate closely with Product, Design, Solutions Engineering, and fellow engineers to deliver reliable, scalable systems that directly impact our customers.

We hire engineers across multiple levels, from mid-level individual contributors to senior and staff-level technical leaders. The exact level will be determined through our interview process based on experience, technical expertise, and demonstrated impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Experience building and shipping production software in a fast-paced environment
• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including system design, testing, and debugging
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively across engineering, product, and business teams
• Passion for building products that deliver exceptional customer experiences

Pay

Expected salary range: $125,000 – $225,000 USD base salary, plus equity and benefits.

Schedule

Hybrid in New York or San Francisco; remote within North America considered on a case-by-case basis. Hybrid is defined as 2-3 days in office.
