Software Engineer (US Citizen)

12-month contract-to-hire position. US citizenship required.

About the role

The software engineer will receive and service tickets from the Auto time system, developing fixes for business-critical issues. The majority of work involves ticket resolution, with some development as needed.

Responsibilities

• Service and resolve tickets from the Auto time system.
• Develop fixes for business-critical tickets.
• Provide on-call support after hours and weekends, including verifying successful job runs at 6 PM EST Sunday and 2 AM EST Monday.
• Support Service Central tickets and pipeline issues.
• Check and verify automated jobs managed via Control-M.

Requirements

• Previous experience with Auto time and Service Central.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot (timeclock backend), Angular (timeclock frontend), Python (job scheduling, PTO, HR feed, payroll, labor), SQL (stored procedures, querying), OpenShift (Kubernetes), and Control-M (automated job management).
• On-call flexibility, including after-hours and weekend support.
• US citizenship.

Schedule

• 4/10 schedule (four 10-hour days), with every Friday off.
• On-call rotation: one week on-call, one week as backup, followed by at least one week off-call (two weeks off-call preferred, but still TBD).

Pay

$63.00/hour on W2.
