About The Role

As a Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in building the experiences that enable defenders to safeguard vital systems. Your work will involve solving complex problems, simplifying data, and designing intuitive workflows that facilitate threat detection and response. Success in this role requires ownership beyond mere implementation—making thoughtful engineering decisions, continuously improving software quality, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the team. You will collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to turn ambiguous challenges into well-structured, effective solutions, contributing to the evolution of our architecture, tooling, and engineering standards.
Qualifications
- 6-8+ years of professional software engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated capability
- Strong fundamentals in software development and application of engineering principles
- Proficiency in modern front-end technologies such as React, TypeScript, and related frameworks
- Experience with testing frameworks, state management, and modern build tools
- Ability to leverage AI-assisted development tools responsibly to enhance productivity and quality
- Excellent collaboration skills across cross-functional teams including Product and Design
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound engineering judgment
- Experience owning projects from concept through delivery and maintenance
- Desire for continuous improvement and learning in software, systems, and team practices
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evolve features from initial concept to final delivery
- Make informed engineering decisions balancing user experience, technical quality, and long-term maintainability
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to translate complex problems into effective solutions
- Identify opportunities to simplify systems, reduce technical complexity, and enhance software quality
- Drive improvements in engineering practices, tooling, and developer experience through technical leadership
- Contribute to the evolution of our architecture, standards, and best practices
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve engineering effectiveness and output
