About the role
The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, documenting, testing, and troubleshooting application software.
Responsibilities
- Performs in-depth analysis and works closely with subject matter experts to assist with the planning, design, development, and application of electronic data processing systems.
- Develops software solutions that include specialized, customized, or commercial applications tailored to user needs.
- Identifies user requirements and evaluates system capabilities to address issues with program intent, desired outputs, input data handling, programming methods, and operational controls.
- Authors operating instructions and creates autonomous services, desktop applications, web platforms, scripts, and utility tools to meet project demands.
- Ensures all developed software adheres to required standards.
Qualifications
- Required Education: Bachelor's degree and two (2) years’ experience; additional four (4) years’ experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
- Required Clearance: Must possess an active Secret security clearance with the ability to maintain; US Citizenship required.
- Required Skills: Apply technical standards, principles, theories, and techniques in the execution of tasks and responsibilities; Interpret objectives to set actionable goals and develop plans to achieve them effectively; Collaborate with supervisors or team leads to ensure work aligns with defined objectives and organizational expectations; Adhere to and implement established guidelines, procedures, and company policies in daily activities; Analyze and resolve moderately complex technical issues by evaluating multiple factors to deliver practical and effective solutions.
