Software Engineer Sr - E3
What You Will Be Doing
This role is to support off-hours support, working a Wednesday to Saturday OR Thursday to Sunday schedule.
Responsibilities
You will be a member of the Build Integrity Team, serving in a Software Integration Engineer role. In this role, you will be responsible for the technology development lifecycle, including system and software design and collaboration, automation tooling and infrastructure improvements, and software integration. Work will include a multitude of host systems, including aircraft software, simulated systems, and laboratory environments that include constructive simulations, physical hardware, and system simulations.
- Developing, integrating, supporting, and debugging software
- Troubleshooting and supporting CI/CD build pipelines
- Supporting the virtual development labs and aircraft software processes
- Designing, developing and leveraging open-source, commercial and in-house software to support automation infrastructure
- Attending and participating in daily scrums, sprint reviews and technical demos
The successful candidate will be a member of a high-performing multi-program team and must have demonstrated effective communication skills. The position will require frequent inter-organizational customer interactions. This role is critical to the automation infrastructure, software integration and software build process in support of several programs.

This role is to support off-hours support, working a Wednesday to Saturday OR Thursday to Sunday schedule, with partial remote ability.

Basic Qualifications
- Software Development, System Testing, Automated Testing, or automation experience
- Experience debugging in C++
- Experience developing in Python
- Experience developing software on Linux
Desired Skills
- Bachelor's degree or above from an accredited college/university in a STEM discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with CI tools, such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Bitbucket
- Experience with Real-time software development and integration
- Experience programming in Python
- A strong interest in supporting software development for airborne systems
- Experience with aircraft sensors, datalinks, navigation, and/or weapons
- Experience with Open Mission Systems
- Experience leading software projects
