Support the Space Force Range Contract (SFRC).
Responsibilities
- Participates in designing, developing, troubleshooting and analyzing software programs for new and existing systems
- Develops/modifies documentation of new or existing programs, as required
- Conducts/supports complex Level 1, 2, and 3 testing to qualify systems for Range operations
- Provides feedback and reports to management on the status of each project
- Leads technical proposals as well as software maintenance release efforts including estimating, planning, and scheduling
- Supports the efforts of all technical support personnel for assigned projects
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s of Science degree in Computer Science or related science, technology, engineering or math (STEM) field or equivalent education and related experience
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering
- Experience working with Windows and Linux (RedHat and GNU) based computer systems and components
- Experience working with scripting languages (Python, JavaScript)
- Experience working with design and coding languages
- Experience working with virtualized systems (VMware)
- Current Security+ CE certification or ability to obtain certification within six (6) months of start date
- The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License
- Some travel may be required (less than 10%)
- The ability to lift 30 lbs

Pay
$135,000-$145,000 annually
